The Grace Blog

Each month Grace invites you to contribute to our “Yellow Bag” Sundays.  Yellow reusable grocery bags are available in the building, and you are encouraged to fill them with the item of the month and return them to Grace. In April we collect food, and our donations go to the food pantry at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wichita.  Please bring non-perishable food items to Grace by Sunday, April 25.

We are recognizing all of our high school and college graduates at Grace on Sunday, May 2.  If you would like your graduate recognized, please email by April 18 the following information to kirk@mygpc.org :

• Picture (head shot preferably)
• School graduating from
• Awards
• A short bio with family, activities, and future plans

Would you like a pew?  Grace has some extra pews throughout our building, and we don’t need them. We have long, medium, and short pews, and if you want one, make us an offer. Contact Catherine Neelly Burton or Martin Burch for more information.

Jacob’s Learning Ladder holds a bookfair each fall and spring. The broader Grace community has a chance to shop for books on Sunday, April 11, starting at 10 am and going after the 11 am worship service. The bookfair is by Scholastic and has a variety of books for children.

The bookfair is on the basement level in the Teen Center.  This can be accessed by going down the north stairs.  If you need elevator access, please let a staff member ...
