IGNITE (All High School aged youth)

  • Sunday School
    • October 7, 21 and 28 we meet in the Teen Center. NO Sunday school on October 14 as this is Prairie Fire Sunday!
  • Wednesday Fellowship: Every Wednesday, ALL Youth Worship on October 17.
    • 5 pm Chess club study hall
    • 6 pm Dinner
    • 6:30 – 7:45 pm Fellowship

INSPIRE (All Middle High aged youth)

Devotional Material

Did you know that Grace provides daily devotionals for you to take home?  “The Upper Room” and “These Days” are both available in the church narthex area next to the large African tapestry.  (If you don’t know where this is, ask a staff member.)

The two books are similar and both provide a daily scripture and brief reflection.  Many Grace members take these home and use them daily, while others do not know about this resource. As we live into our ...

Deep Roots

Dear Grace Community,

The Session is excited to share with you the Deep Roots Capital Campaign.  For over a year, groups within our congregation have studied our facilities to consider how we might continue to use our space most effectively for our congregation and the community. This summer, the Session began to study the data provided by these groups, and the result of this is the Deep Roots Campaign.

Bus Tickets and Morning Worship: September 14

Each month Grace distributes bus tickets to people in our community.  This happens on the 15th of the month, or if the 15th is on a weekend we meet the Friday before.  Volunteers and those receiving tickets begin to gather around 6:30 am in the Grace Alcove. Guests are greeted with smiles, coffee, water, and a place to sit. Tickets are distributed at 7:50 am.

Yellow Bag Sundays: September

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter. In September our contributions go to the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church food pantry.  All non-perishable food items are welcome.
