Mission trips change lives. For those who are lucky enough to participate, God does some miraculous work that lasts a life time. Our youth get to experience new cultures, learn that God is everywhere and what is sacrificial giving through service.

Red Cross Blood Drive: March 4

Did you know?

  • Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.
  • One pint of blood (the approximate amount given in a donation) can be used to help up to three people.
  • About one-third of the US population is eligible to give blood.
  • Five million patients in the US need blood every year.

Lent 2018: I Believe

Our Lenten theme this year is, “I Believe.”  During the six Sundays of Lent we look at the Apostles’ Creed and what it means to say we believe it.  We also look at what it means to say, “I believe,” about anything.

Worship loosely follows along with Adam Hamilton’s book, Creed, which examines the Apostles’ Creed.  You are invited to join one of several book study groups or to purchase the book and read it on your own.  There is more ...

Cookies!

 

It’s time to bake and deliver cookies to our community. This is the fifth year for our cookie initiative, and we’re excited to again offer a blessing to those who work in our city.  In early February a bulletin board goes up by the coffee bar. You sign up to bake two dozen cookies, or you sign up for a location to deliver them.  Locations include places like: fire stations, public library, the hospital ER, and more.

Bus Tickets and Morning Worship: February 15, 20118

Each month Grace distributes bus tickets to people in our community.  This happens on the 15th of the month, or if the 15th is a weekend we meet the Friday before. Volunteers and those receiving tickets begin to gather around 6:30 am in the Grace Alcove. Guests are greeted with smiles, coffee, water, and a place to sit. Tickets are distributed at 7:50 am.
