Laundry Love: February 12

It’s time for our monthly Laundry Love! This is when we go to College Town Laundry at 3223 E 17th St, by the WSU Campus, and pay for laundry for people. This is a mission of our evangelism team, and we’d love for you to join us. We’ll be there from 2:30 – 4 pm on Sunday February 12.  Want to know more? Yellow Bag Sundays

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter.  Our contributions go the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church food pantry.  Consider bringing cereal or toilet paper this month.

Children’s Ministry: Jennifer Snook February 2017

The Children’s worship service was a delightful experience for those of us who directed, taught and marveled at these talented human beings. Grace kids are an extraordinary bunch full of questions and inspiration. We hope to bring more worship experiences to you in the near future.

February bears the cold of winter as well as the far off song of spring. We can almost hear the daffodils bursting through the ground, and our gaze moves from the manger to the cross.

Cookies!

It’s time to bake and deliver cookies to our community. This is the fourth year for our cookie initiative, and we’re excited to again offer a blessing to those who work in our city.

In early February a bulletin board will go up by the coffee bar.  You’ll sign up to either bake two dozen cookies, or you’ll sign up for a location to deliver them. Locations include places like: fire stations, public library, the hospital ER, and more.
