Yellow Bag Sundays: November 2016

Each month on the first Sunday, you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter. In November and December, our contributions go to Operation Holiday.  Operation Holiday is a mission of Interfaith Ministries.  Last year over 13,000 people were served through this outreach.

Advent Family Event: November 13

Advent Family Night (Pajama Party) is November 13 from 5:30-7 pm in the Great Room.

Families,  grandparents, and friends, get ready for bed early and come in your pj’s to make a special nativity keepsake and hear stories told by our own Erin Lewis.

You don’t want to miss this sweet evening that helps prepare us all for the Advent season.

Sunday Morning Schedule – November

9 am           Worship in the Great Room

10 am         Education and Fellowship

11 am         Worship in the Sanctuary

Worship at 9 am is in the Great Room and is led musically by our band.The style is less formal than the 11 am service. The 11 am service is in the Sanctuary and is led musically by our choirs. The style is more traditional.

Trunk or Treat Hits the Street

Trunk or Treat is back, but it looks a little different this year. Our Children’s ministry team has put some serious thought and heart into the events we offer. We want to glorify God and provide a way for our families to be involved in outreach as a family.

Election Day Hospitality: November 8

November 8 is election day, and Grace is an election site. We expect a large number of people to be in and out of our building that day.

We need your help.  We know that lines are likely to be long on election day, and we hope to have volunteers here to offer coffee to those standing in line, to point people to the bathrooms, and to welcome people as they enter the building.
