Bus Tickets and Morning Worship: July 15

Each month Grace distributes bus tickets to people in our community. This happens on the 15th of the month, or if the 15th is a weekend we meet the Friday before. Volunteers and those receiving tickets begin to gather around 7 am in the Grace alcove.

Guests are greeted with smiles, coffee, water, and a place to sit. Tickets are distributed at 8 am, and a brief worship service with communion follows.  Everyone is invited to stay for worship. The worship ...

Dear Grace Community,

We had a wonderful adult Sunday School series in June.  Each week we heard about different aspects of being human.  Dr. Francie Ekengren talked with us about end-of-life ethics.  She shared about the Transportable Physician Orders for Patient Preferences or TPOPP.

Laundry Love: July 10

It’s time for our monthly Laundry Love! This is when we go to College Town Laundry at 3223 E 17th St, by the WSU Campus, and pay for laundry for people. This is a mission of our evangelism team, and we’d love for you to join us. Yellow Bag Sundays July 2016

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter.  This month our contributions go to the food pantry at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.  Consider bringing macaroni and cheese or can proteins.

We welcome Pastor Amy Baumgartner as our guest preacher. Amy was the associate pastor at First        Presbyterian Wichita for many years and is now in a season of staying home with her family. There is one service at 10 am in the Great Room. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper and commission our youth mission  trip participants.
