Watermark Books at Grace: October 5

Grace is excited to host Watermark Books and author, Geraldine Brooks, on Wednesday, October 5, at 6:30 pm.  Brooks’ latest book is The Secret Chord.

She is the author of four novels including the Pulitzer Prize winning March.  Her novel, Caleb’s Crossing, won the New England Book Award for fiction and the Christianity Today Book Award.

When we host Watermark, we enjoy the opportunity to offer hospitality to the community.

Numana Food Packing Event: October 16

Grace is answering Christ’s call to ‘feed his sheep.’  On October 16, we host a Numana Food Packing event from 2-4 pm.

Numana (numanainc.com) is based out of El Dorado, KS. They bring pounds and pounds of dried beans and rice to Grace that day, and we package the food into bags to be shipped to a ministry in Haiti that works with children.

The Wednesday Afternoon Discussion Class

Would you enjoy learning new things? Do you have time available during the day? Do you like to explore different ideas in a safe and challenging environment? Then join the Wednesday Afternoon Video Discussion Class led by Martin Burch at Grace every Wednesday at 2 pm in Room 208.

The class meets to explore various aspects of Christianity and our place in the world.

Class begins with a 12 – 20 minute video presentation followed by group discussion and exploration.
