It’s time to offer a blessing to Jacob’s Learning Ladder Families.  Each spring we set aside a couple of days and greet families with coffee and muffins when they come to drop-off their children. This small gesture goes a long way in extending care from our congregation to families, and we need your help.  Sign up at the church to either bake muffins (drop them off at Grace on May 1) or to be here to greet and share.

On the first Sunday of each month, you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter.  This month our contributions go to the food pantry at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.  Consider bringing proteins such as canned meat and beans.

On Sunday, April 24, we gather for One Worship Service at 10 am in the Great Room. On this day, children of the church lead us in worship.

Catherine preaches, but children serve as the liturgists and encourage us to consider God’s promises. Jennifer Snook, our Director of Children’s Ministries has worked with our children, their Sunday School teachers, and their families for weeks to prepare for this day.
