Sunday Morning March Schedule and Preaching Schedule

  •  9 am Worship in the Great Room
  • 10 am Education and Fellowship (see below)
  • 11 am Worship in the Sanctuary

Worship at 9 am is in the Great Room. It is led musically by our band. The style is less formal than the 11 am service. The 11 am service is in the Sanctuary and led musically by our choirs. The style is more traditional.

Every July, our high school youth and dedicated and brave adults leave for a week of mission. Over the years, Grace youth have traveled to Arizona, Oklahoma, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina, Michigan and many more states.

March Youth Ministry Schedules

IGNITE (All High School aged youth)

  • Miles for Mission – all month on Sundays
  • Sunday School (10 – 10:50 am) we meet every Sunday. Proverbs is our theme.
  • Fellowship Wednesdays (6 – 7:15 pm). We meet March 4, March 11 and March 25. We have a small dinner at 5:30, and a donation of $3 is appreciated.

INSPIRE (All Middle High aged youth)

  • Sunday school (10 – 10:50 am); We meet every Sunday. We look at the Books of Matthew.

I talk a lot about all of the people who come in and out of Grace each day. The list includes: parents and students at Jacob’s Learning Ladder; volunteers; students coming to see Kirk; outside groups (gamblers anonymous, girl scouts, ALS support, etc); church members coming for study or meetings; community people coming for bus tickets. The list goes on and on.

Interfaith Dialogue: March 1

On Sunday, March 1, at 2 pm, we host the Wichita State Student Association for Interfaith Dialogue for a panel discussion. Pastor Catherine Neelly Burton sits on the panel as well as representatives from the Jewish and Muslim communities. The topic of the panel is, “The Purpose of Worship and Prayers within Each Faith Community.”
