A Word from Our Interim Pastor: The Rev. Dr. Steven M. Marsh

Happy Resurrection this Sunday, friends. Jesus conquered death, and there is hope for all humanity that by placing one’s faith in Jesus Christ, that person will live eternally with God and have abundant life now. Christ is risen. Alleluia!

  • Our Interim Pastor Journey Town Hall Meeting Step 2 is Sunday, May 5.
  • We will have one service in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am followed by a covered dish lunch, including dessert, water, iced tea, and coffee in the Great Room.
  • The question below will be the focus of our discussion as we complete Step 2 of 6 in our Interim Pastor Journey

How would you describe Grace to someone you wanted to attend with you?

  • Mark your calendar now for Sunday, May 5, at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary. Pick up a flyer for all the Steps on the Bulletin Board in the Narthex.

On the journey of Christian discipleship with you, I remain faithfully yours,

Steve

A Word From Our Interim Pastor: The Rev. Dr. Steven M. Marsh

The second quarter of the year continues for me as our Interim Pastor. And “Our Interim Pastor Journey” begins its journey into Jerusalem this Sunday. God is Good. And God is good all the time.

  • Our Interim Pastor Journey Town Hall Meeting Step 1 is completed. Our congregation has five more opportunities for participation.

How has Grace’s past shaped who we are today? The Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, March 17, 2024, went very well. There were seventy-four people in attendance. The Great Hall was buzzing with engagement, participation, and insight being shared. The information gathered is being tabulated and will be available for congregants to peruse shortly.

The Session discusses the document at its Stated Meeting on Monday, April 8. The Session will begin to formulate the profile of the person Grace hopes to call as its next Pastor. Each of the five remaining Town Hall Meetings builds on the Pastor Profile. Your participation is essential. So, let’s increase the number of participants at our next meeting noted below:

How would you describe Grace to someone you wanted to attend with you? (Sunday, May 5, 2024)

easter

Easter Flowers

Each year on Easter Sunday, the worship spaces of our church feature the abundant beauty of Easter flowers, given for God’s glory and honoring our loved ones. Following worship, the flowers are delivered to members who cannot regularly join us or who have experienced a loss. You can participate by purchasing an Easter flower for $25.00. Call the church office, mail your “Easter Flowers” check, and let us know in whose memory or honor the flowers are given before Mach 26, 2024. The names are listed in the Easter bulletin.
