Volunteer Appreciation Dinner: June 18 at 6 pm

It’s time to say “Thank you!” Thank you for generously giving your time at Grace. Each year we celebrate Grace Volunteers with a dinner.  The church provides meat, and we ask you to bring a side or dessert to share.  Dinner is at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 18. There is no formal program, but there are door prizes.

Pentecost Offering 2019

Each year we receive the PCUSA Pentecost offering.  This offering supports ministries with children at risk, youth, and young adults.  We give 60% of the offering to the national church and designate 40% locally.

This year the Grace Mission Distribution Team designates our 40% to Young Lives. Young Lives is part of YoungLife and connects with teen moms.Teen moms are supported in practical ways and through life mentoring.

IGNITE Mission Trip Car Wash

Sunday, June 2 is our Mission Trip Car Wash. The money raised goes to support 35 youth and guides on our Mission Trip to Denver, Colorado. We partner with the Door Network to serve their inner-city and underprivileged ministries.

Areas of service include: painting with Restoration Brotherhood, leading a week of Vacation Bible School, serving breakfast and lunches for the homeless, being part of the presence ministry at Network Café, along with other ministries.

Yellow Bag Sundays: May 2019

Each month on the first Sunday you’re encouraged to take home a re-usable yellow grocery bag, put some non-perishable items in it, and bring it back the next week, or soon thereafter.  In May, our offering is split between two places.
