Each month Grace distributes bus tickets to people in our community. The next bus ticket distribution is Tuesday, October 15. Volunteers and those receiving tickets begin to gather around 6:30 am in the Grace Alcove. Guests are greeted with smiles, coffee, water, and a place to sit. Yellow Bag for October: Covenant Presbyterian Church Food Pantry

Once again, Grace’s Yellow Bag collection helps our friends across town at Covenant Presbyterian Church’s Food Pantry. We are asking for items such as canned tuna/chicken, pasta and sauce, mac and cheese, cereal, canned vegetables and fruits, or other non-perishable food items. Covenant serves an increasing number of families, and we can help keep their pantry stocked.

We are collecting hygiene items for Simply Hygiene for the month of September. Soap, toothpaste, shampoo, feminine items, diapers, and baby wipes are just some of the items needed. Look for barrels around the church to drop off your donations.

There is a one worship service on Sunday, October 6, at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary, followed by a potluck lunch and Town Hall Meeting, Step 5, in the Great Room. The theme for this lunch is Fall Favorites. Dig through your files to find something you haven’t had since last October.
