In July we receive school supplies for the Refugee Backpack Party.  This annual event is held at First Presbyterian in partnership with many faith communities and the International Rescue Committee.

Sign up for what to bring on the bulletin board by the coffee bar.  Grace is assigned certain items to donate including wide ruled loose-leaf paper, Crayola thin markers, and colored pencils.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) crafts are a great place to donate your time and talents.

The Children’s Ministry Department is looking for extra hands and donations in the craft area. We are in particular need of empty clean water bottles. Please bring your empty bottles to the narthex and find the VBS bulletin board. A basket is there to collect your water bottles and other donations. • The Grace Presbyterian Session met on January 31, at 12:30 pm in the Great Room for a called meeting to examine officers. The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.
• Examined were:
  • Elders Bronwen Burch, Laurie Haury, Carolyn Shaw, Strom Sloan, and Bill Vavra
  • Deacons: Sophia Randle, Janet Rhoads, and Anne Woolsey
• Each newly elected officer shared their faith story with the session, and session members were invited to ask questions.
