Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 am to noon is the Hanging of the Greens. It will be a time of fun and preparation. We decorate the Church, share a soup potluck lunch, bake and deliver cookies, and do a family craft. You can come for all or any part of the day, and that includes lunch.
- We hang decorations and prepare the entire building for the Christmas season. Our Arts Team will direct this process.
- We bake cookies to deliver to various agencies around our neighborhood (fire/police/first responders/etc.). If you can’t make the day and want to be involved, please feel free to bring a dozen home-baked cookies to share in our delivery. Mark them for this purpose and drop them off a day or two before December 7.
- There will be time for family crafting. This is a great opportunity to share the beginning of the Christmas season with your kids, grandkids, and your entire family.
- Bring your favorite soup or chili to share with everyone. This is a time to share a meal and enjoy the fellowship that is unique to our congregation. We have outlets available for crockpots to stay warm.
