Twice a month the children join Jennifer or Catherine for a Bible Story, the first one this month was “Jesus Tells Stories” (Mark 4). The children really enjoy listening to the stories and look forward to it each month.
This month the children learned about the five senses. Some classes used snack as a hands on opportunity to experience all five5 of their senses. They saw the pickle, they could hear the crunching, they could feel the bumpy pickle, they smelled the pickle, and of course tasted the pickle! The children really enjoyed learning about their five senses during snack time.
At the end of our ‘polar animals’ week the children got to come to school in their jammies! They enjoyed breakfast food for snack, they listened to classic bedtime stories and brought their favorite cuddly for show and share.
