Advent and Christmas is a wonderful time for music, and we have several special offerings planned. All of these are great opportunities to come together, and invite friends to join, in praising God and celebrating the season. May all be to the Glory of God!
We have three Advent Concerts on Sundays during the month of December from 10:15-10:40 am in the sanctuary. Each group also helps lead music in the 11 am worship service.
- December 6 – Mountain Dulcimer and Fiddle, Erin Lewis and Amber Rogers
- December 13 – Woodwind Trio
- December 20 – Epic Brass
Donna Hetrick, our Director of Music/Organist, presents an organ recital of Advent and Christmas music on Sunday, December 6 at 3 pm. This is in the Chapel in the Administration Building at Bethel College in N. Newton, KS. The recital is free, and all are invited.
On Sunday, December 13, our Wind and String Ensembles combines for our 9 am worship service. They offer a variety of Christmas Carols for worship. If you’re interested in playing with us, please contact Donna Hetrick at Donna@mygpc.org.
